This branch of Curry Leaf Cafe’s mini-chain of South Indian street food and craft beer restaurants opened in January 2016, with the emphasis on street food and tandoor dishes that emerge, tapas-style, from an open kitchen as soon as they are ready rather than in a more conventional starters and mains format.
Start by snacking on the likes of flavoured mini poppadums with homemade chutney, before moving on to more substantial dishes, such as chicken wings marinated in South Indian spices and black pepper, or a creamy king prawn curry.
Finish off your meal with a slice of mango and beetroot cake, or a selection of traditional Indian sweets. A great beer list and takeaway options (curry on the beach, anyone?) are further reasons to visit.
