SquareMeal Review of Capricci

The Tate Modern may be a London gallery but it curates a collection of truly international artists, so it’s absolutely right that it should have more than one flavour of cuisine. This eatery sources its ingredients from all corners of Italy: sundried tomatoes from Apulia, truffles from Tuscany and olive oil from Lake Garda; to bring its customers classic dishes with a taste of authenticity – expect the likes of veal chop Milanese, risotto with saffron and bottarga and burrata with Valtellina bresaola on the weekly changing menu. Choose easy Italian wines from the list or, if you’re looking for something special, choose it from the one the shop shelves – Capricci operates as a mini Italian deli as well.
