This British tapas joint comes with a strong restaurant pedigree. The team behind it have worked in the kitchens at J Sheekey, The Ivy, Le Caprice and Rick Stein’s The Seafood Restaurant. Specialising in seasonal small plates, Black Bream turns out the likes of roasted octopus with almonds and smoked peppers, foie gras and leek risotto, and Thai green mussel curry with naan and coriander rice. The wine list champions home-grown produce via English sparkling wines, while the cocktails offer twists on classics, including a Himalayan Margarita, which mixes Tequila with pink grapefruit, Himalayan salt, honey and lime.
