Twist Connubio is a convivial and cosy restaurant in the heart of Marylebone specialising in Spanish-Italian sharing plates and excellent wines. Boasting its own private dining room, as well as the option to hire the restaurant exclusively for more major celebrations, it's well-suited to private dinners both large and small, from social celebrations to corporate events.
The private dining room is a pared-back, rustic space located on the lower ground floor, and able to accommodate up to 35 seated guests (although it can easily cater for parties as little as 10). Linked by a stairwell to the main dining room upstairs, it’s a great option for special occasion lunches and dinners, or a more relaxed drinks reception featuring wine and pintxos. When you book a private dinner here, an experienced team will be assigned to work solely on your event to ensure your guests experience attentive service.
The space can also be hired for a chef’s table-style experience for up to four guests. This option sees diners treated to a six-course tasting menu, which they can watch head chef Gonzalo Luzarrara prepare in front of them. Alternatively, Twist Connubio is available for exclusive hire for groups of up to 70 seated. This includes use of both the private dining room and the main restaurant.
Gonzala’s menus are created using the best seasonal produce available, and inspired by the vast and varied cuisines of Spain and Italy. Examples of dishes you can expect to sample include fried courgette flowers with sheep ricotta and mint, braised ox cheese with red cabbage, miso and kombi sauce, mussels with garlic, old sherry and garum, as well as dishes cooked over its Josper grill. Do note that the team are happy to cater for vegetarian and vegan guests if required.
