If you're looking for a private dining space in the City with personality and playfulness, The Lucky Goat - with its sharing menus and wide range of games - could be just the thing. Not a private dining experience in the traditional sense (you won't find a banquet table and candlelight here), what The Lucky Goat offers is much more about bringing people together and having some fun.
The central appeal here are the games. There's loads to choose from between karaoke, shuffleboard, air hockey and darts, ensuring there's something for everyone. Even the most uncoordinated among us can perhaps belt out a tune. The team have already prepared a selection of packages to make booking that much easier, divided into party size, time allowed and drinks tokens.
For example, the Gold package includes shuffle, air hockey, darts and pool for up to 37 guests for two hours. Guests will be given two drinks tokens and a selection of food. While, The Goat package takes this number up to three hours, and offers an extra drink. If, however, you're looking for a venue with full takeover, The Lucky Goat has space for up to 220 guests and you can make the venue totally your own.
As for food, get started with bar snacks such as spicy Gordal olives, warm pretzels with mustard, chorizo beer sticks or Catalan boquerones gildas. For something more substantial, order dressed housemade crisps topped with jamón and piparra peppers, sour cream with bacon and chives, or Manchego, olives and red onion.
Sharing plates include prawn toast, currywurst, Oklahoma beef sliders and tempura aubergine with whipped tofu, while the fresh flatbread sandwiches range from Merguez Frites and Chopped Cheese to tandoori paneer with mango chutney or miso mushrooms with vegan mozzarella. Finish with a lucky-dip Happy Endings ice-cream sandwich and you can't go wrong.
