With its prime Broadwick Street location, atmospheric interiors, innovative Mexican influences and range of premium British steaks, Temper Soho is a natural choice for private and group dining. The team sources North Yorkshire beef, which is dry-aged and butchered in-house, forming the core of sharing-style group feasting menus packed with bold, smoky flavours.
Smaller groups of up to six guests will feel at home in the dining room’s intimate booths, secluded enough to feel private while still benefiting from the ambience of the open fire pit kitchen. Alternatively, if you’re celebrating an event or milestone that calls for added exclusivity, get in touch with the team to book the 20-person private dining room. Here, shielded by a velvet curtain, tables can be arranged to suit your needs, whether it be a corporate dinner, birthday lunch or anniversary.
Group dining at Temper Soho revolves around sharing and eating together. The team has devised two set feasting menus at different price points, allowing guests to sample highlights from the main menu. The Feast Menu is the more affordable option. It begins with a welcome Margarita, followed by a range of tacos with intriguing fillings such as burnt ends with beef fat mayonnaise and pickled onion, and cochinita pibil with smoked pork shoulder and crunchy cabbage.
For the main course, expect a selection of dishes to share, including smoked rare-breed beef brisket with pickled red onion, wood-roasted fish with gochujang butter and fennel-mint salad, and beef rump steak with heritage tomato salsa. Sides include flatbreads, house salad and Temper Soho’s beef fat potatoes topped with garlic raclette. For dessert, there’s an indulgent peanut and chocolate tart served with fior di latte ice cream. Todrink, expect a wine list featuring steak-friendly bottles from Old and New World regions, alongside tequila and mezcal cocktails, beer and soft drinks.
