The first thing anyone will tell you about visiting sketch is that it's an experience. From the quirky hopscotch drawn across the floor as you walk in, to the famous egg-shaped pod loos, it's a little like falling through the looking glass to find a fantasy land. So, if you're in search of a private dining room to host a celebration or special supper, there isn't anywhere quite like sketch.
Sketch offers a variety of exclusive salons and bespoke food menus, meticulously crafted to cater to all events. From an intimate soirée to corporate events and milestone celebrations, you'll find menus and private venues to match.
The Lecture Room & Library is sketch’s magnum opus. Designed by Gabhan O’Keefe, the three-Michelin-star restaurant is decorated in shades of orange, with richly upholstered armchairs and extraordinary chandeliers. The design is opulent, with ivory walls of silver thread, ornate plasterwork ceilings, and crystal-encrusted bathrooms. Set within The Lecture Room & Library, the Dame Millicent Garrett Fawcett room is an intimate, semi-private eight-seater dining space. Primarily known for her work as a campaigner for women to have the right to vote, Fawcett spoke at a public meeting held in the Lecture Room, calling for the enfranchisement of women. She went on to become a champion of women’s equality.
The Glade, meanwhile, is ideal for group dining. Designed by Mourad Mazouz in collaboration with artists Carolyn Quartermaine and Didier Mahieu, The Glade is an artwork in decoupage: a landscape forest inspired by a 1900s greeting card. It seats up to 30 on a private basis, with guests seated beneath the Lucy Vail Floristry's beautiful forest canopy, complete with gilded oak leaves.
Sketch's most eclectic space is The Parlour, which offers a neo-nineties atmosphere, executed with a polished and luxurious feel. Groups can nestle into booth seating laid with playful fabrics or take over the whole space with up to 100 standing.
