Just a stone's throw from Bank Station, Goodman City’s private dining room, exceptional steak menus, and professional atmosphere position it as a firm favourite in the Square Mile. This, matched with a strong wine list, seamless service, and a warm atmosphere, completes the package. If you’re hunting for quality, consistency, and a setting that works for team celebrations or client entertainment, Goodman City is just the ticket.
The Goodman City private dining room seats between eight and ten guests at a butcher’s block style table, complete with dark wood furniture, and a feature wall which looks into the restaurant's celebrated dry ageing store. A sliding door guarantees total privacy, but can be left open to draw on the energy of the main dining room. Alternatively, if you’re planning for larger numbers, the main restaurant is also available and can be arranged to seat up to 30 guests for more relaxed dining events.
Private dining menus are served as a shared feast, with ample dishes and generous portions laid out family style. There are three menus to choose from, including the ‘Classic’, ‘Experience’, and ‘Chef’s Choice’, each varying by price point. All include a chef’s selection of grass-fed Heritage breed steaks reared in the UK, cooked over charcoal and served with a selection of sides that may feature chips topped with truffle and parmesan mac and cheese with toasted panko, tenderstem broccoli with chilli and garlic, and mushrooms finished with garlic butter and chives.
Starters also feature premium ingredients. Depending on which menu you go for, options may include prawn tempura with avocado, chipotle, and gochujang mayonnaise; Galician beef cecina cured and smoked over oak; Puglian burrata with tomatoes and fig balsamic; Spanish bluefin tuna with oyster dressing and jalapeno; or Caesar salad with large clearwater prawns.
Top it all off with desserts like tiramisu and Goodman’s signature cheesecake, supported by steak-friendly wines throughout, and you’ve got the recipe for a winning private dinner in the City.
