The latest opening from the Crispin Group, Bistro Freddie is bringing classic French cuisine to Shoreditch and offers a number of options for your next private dining event. White linen tablecloths and cosy candle lit dining provide a relaxed ambience not too dissimilar from the French bistros that inspired the restaurant. The space is incredibly versatile, with simple white walls and classic wooden details that make it the perfect blank canvas for your next event.
For smaller groups you can book a table for up to 16 in the classic dining room, an ideal option for your next work lunch or small group dinner. Alternatively, larger groups may opt to book out the entire restaurant which can host 40 people seated or 80 people standing.
When it comes to the food, enjoy a number of seasonal starters or the famous pies to share, as well as large cuts of meat that are cooked over fire. Anna Sogaard's menu is inspired by classic British and French gastronomy and allows for tailored service for your next event whether you're wanting a simple drinks and canapes reception or a larger sit down meal complete with a fully catered feasting menu. The group menu has offerings such as mushroom parfait with pickled mushrooms and grilled bread, Chicken and tarragon pie (recommended as a sharer for two to three people) with house chips and dressed salad. The canape options, that come with exclusive hire only, include pigs head pate with baguette and pickles and quail egg mayonnaise with anchovy and fried parsley.
No stone has been left unturned with the drinks menu which boasts a vast selection of wines from every corner of France, as well as Champagne and a number of beers and ciders. You'll be sure to find the perfect pairing for your meal and keep the drinks flowing all evening.
