The Firmdale hotel group is known for its excellent taste. So who better to host a series of winemaker dinners that take in some of the best producers from Italy, the USA and France?
Perhaps you fancy exploring wines from Piedmont, in the north of Italy? On Monday 14 September, Gianni Bertolino from Piedmont winery Tenuta Olim Bauda will host a three-course meal with his chosen wine pairings.
If New World wines are more your style, book your place at the winemaker dinner on Monday 26 October, when Master Sommelier Dimitri Mesnard from Napa Valley's Freemark Abbey will lead an evening that sees wines from the Sycamore and Bosché vineyards paired with dishes specially prepared by the hotel's chef.
Or if only bubbles will do, on Monday 9 November, Champagne Pommery's Barry Melton will give diners an insight into the heritage of one of France's most celebrated and innovative Champagne houses - and talk them through samples of some of its vintages during their meal, of course.
Each winemaker dinner costs £45, including all food and wine. To book your place, visit the hotel's website.
