The Park’s annual Thai festival will be running from 4–17 June this year, & will again be hosted by executive chef Vichit Mikura of The Oriental in Bangkok. Mikura, who trained in Japan & Thailand, has played a significant role in spreading the influence of Thai cuisine throughout the world & is passionate about creating traditional & contemporary food. Menu highlights will include ‘tom kha goong’ (herbed coconut tiger prawn soup), ‘moo phad prig khing’ (stir-fried pork with red curry paste & kaffir lime leaves) & ‘gaeng buad mamuang khow niew moon’ (warm coconut milk & mango with sweet sticky rice). A three-course lunch menu is priced at £33 & includes unlimited wine of the sommelier’s choice, while the three-course dinner menu costs £34 excluding wine.
