This May, Knightsbridge department store Harrods is joining forces with the Royal Thai Embassy to celebrate its national
Global Thai restaurant chains Patara and Blue
Elephant, which both have branches in London, will bring special menus to Harrods Traiteur counter and its Sea Grill, Rotisserie, Pizzeria and Georgian restaurants, combining Thai classics with
more contemporary creations. Highlights will include lobster in dry green curry, lemongrass-marinated New Zealand rack of lamb and fresh lime sea bass.
For those who fancy recreating the restaurant dishes at home, the department store’s Food Halls will showcase Thai ingredients. Visitors should look out for fresh ingredients such as holy basil,
koi choi flowers, banana leaves and Thai mango. Knowledgeable staff will be on hand to help shoppers and share cooking tips.
What’s more, throughout the month special demonstrations and activities, such as fruit carving and Thai dancing, will be on display in the Thailand Exhibition windows.
