This year, three London supperclub hosts are opening their doors to diners for charity.
The ‘supperheroes’ will serve secret-weapon dishes made from original recipes, drawing inspiration from the four corners of the globe. All profits will go to international aid agency Action Against
The line-up is as follows:
Saturday 25 August: Cherry Smart
A moreish Cantonese menu from the cook behind food blog Feed the Tang and Chinese supperclub Fed by Tang. Dishes on the menu include stir-fried clams with garlic, and triple cooked mui-choi pork
belly. Minimum donation £30; BYO.
Sunday 16 September: Roberto & Fabio
Lovers of Italian food will enjoy the gastronomic tour of the country offered by Roberto & Fabio, founders of The Backdoor Kitchen supperclub. Dishes range from baby squid stuffed with mushroom
and smoked salmon, to cacciatore-style chicken. Minimum donation £30.
Saturday 27th October: Sumayya Jamil
This food blogger will be teaming up with friend and fellow blogger Absolute Indian for a tantalising feast from the sub-continent. Highlights include aubergine-and-pomegranate pakora fritters, and
Sindhi-style lamp chops with rose-petal garam masala. Minimum donation £45.
Guests who attend all three events will be entered into a draw to win foodie prizes, including hampers, a three-hour Asian cookery masterclass for two, and a sausage-making masterclass. For more
