Spring Menu at Tamarind

Alfred Prasad, the executive chef at the Michelin-starred Indian restaurant Tamarind, has devised a new, delicate lunch menu for spring. Priced at £16.95 for two courses or £18.95 for three, it might see a light salad of black-eyed beans, kumquats, spring leaves and chaat masala followed by a deliciously tender grilled chicken tikka with bell peppers and saffron. Also included are seasonal vegetables, daal, steamed rice and naan bread, while a refreshing kiwi sorbet rounds things off for those who opt for three courses.
