This summer New Zealand winery Cloudy Bay and Skye Gyngell of Petersham Nurseries Café are teaming up to host the Cloudy Bay Shack, a pop-up opening in Parsons Green from 30-31 July.
Wine and food lovers will have the chance to sample Cloudy Bay wines paired with five bespoke dishes created by the Michelin-starred chef.
The seasonal taster dishes have been designed to complement the full range of Cloudy Bay wines: try heritage tomatoes with goats’ curd and oregano paired with Cloudy Bay Riesling, or risotto with
lemon and San Daniele ham matched with Cloudy Bay Chardonnay. Each of the dishes on the tasting menu costs £4.50; glasses of wine cost £6.50. Jazz music will accompany the event, and entry is free.
After the shack has closed, each of the five dishes from the taster selection will feature on the menu at Petersham Nurseries Café, with its wine pairing, for one week at a time.
