See in summer with Jamaica Jamaica at The Jam Tree

Jamaica’s vibrant cuisine fuses indigenous flavours with a melting pot of Spanish, African, Indian and Chinese influences – and this August, The Jam Tree will celebrate all things Jamaican at its Chelsea and Clapham branches.

The Jam Tree’s executive chef James Browne, who has travelled extensively in Jamaica, has masterminded a menu of all the classics – from curried goat with fried plantain, ackee and salt fish, and jerk chicken, to grilled snapper escoveitch and Jamaican patties.

No Jamaican pop-up would be complete without a tot of rum, and The Jam Tree has enlisted Jamaican producers Wray & Nephew and Appleton to provide refreshing cocktails such as The Jamaican Mule, The Mary Pickford and bespoke blends such as The Usain Bolt and Shabba Ranks. The whole shebang will be accompanied by a selection of reggae spanning five decades.

Jamaica Jamaica will kick off on Tuesday 6 August (Jamaican Independence Day) and will run until Tuesday 20 August. To find out more, visit The Jam Tree’s website.
