Learn to taste Bordeaux before it reaches full maturity among fellow enthusiasts during The Regent Grand Hotel’s 4 day En Primeurs programme, guided and tutored by Master of Wine Anthony Hanson.
Priced at £2,650 per person, the wine tour begins with a dinner featuring specially selected Bordeaux wines to accompany chef Pascal Nibaudeau’s tasting menu. Taste your way through the Left Bank
at a visit to Châteaux Langoa-Barton & Léoville-Barton for a wine walkabout (which includes Margaux & Rauzan-Ségla), as well as First Growth Château Mouton-Rothschild in Pauillac; which
boasts more classified First Growth estates than any other commune of Bordeaux. Continuing the wine journey through the Right Bank, experience a day of St-Emilion Grand Cru Classé with visits to
Châteaux Magdelaine & Bélair-Monange as well as Clos Fourtet. Then head to the southerly apellation of Pessac-Léognan (including Château Haut-Bailly) to sample their featured dry whites &
reds. Spend your last morning at Château d’Yquem, tasting the sweet wines of Sauternes, with the late afternoon free for your enjoyment in the centre of Bordeaux.
This event is held 4 May-8 May, starting with aperitifs served at 7pm at The Regent Grand Hotel Bordeaux. To book your tickets, contact the hotel on +33 (0) 557 30 44 44 or email.
