Treat friends, colleagues or friends to a day away from the hustle and bustle of the capital and head to Weston Park, where Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen will be performed in the
beautiful gardens on 16 July. In a social whirlwind of balls, dinners and very eligible offers, Lizzie Bennett and Fitzwilliam Darcy stand alone as the only sane people – and they hate each other!
Or do they? The gardens open from 5.30pm, with the play commencing at 7.30pm. It is a picnic-style event, so bring your own chairs and rigs. Alternatively, dinner and accommodation is available in
the magnificent 17th century stately home. At £75 per person, a dinner package includes Champagne on arrival, a three-course dinner with coffee and chocolate truffles, a ticket to the performance
and a reception drink during the interval. The overnight package costs £170 per person and includes the above dinner package and full English breakfast.
