Central London is the last place you’d expect to be able to go strawberry picking, but Bloom London Dry Gin has brought a touch of the countryside to the West End.
From Tuesday 11 June to Thursday 13 June, Londoners will be able to pick their own fruit, amid the sounds of birdsong and the smell of freshly cut grass at 19 Earlham Street in Covent Garden,
organised as part of the celebrations for World Gin Day (Saturday 15 June), now in its fifth year.
Visitors can take part free, from midday to 7pm each day, and then enjoy a Bloom gin and tonic with strawberries, made by a professional bartender, for £6.50.
