Entering its 19th year, Raymond Blanc’s Le Festival aux Quat’Saisons is an annual showcase of talent from the world of opera, classical music and jazz. Set in the 12th century St Mary’s Church,
beside Blanc’s two-Michelin-starred restaurant and hotel Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, the event takes place
over three evenings.
Thursday 7 October, Russell Watson: English tenor Russell Watson returns from recording his new album in Rome to perform at Le Manoir.
Friday 8 October, Lesley Garrett CBE: Popular soprano Lesley Garrett takes a break from her London stage comeback in Carousel to sing a variety of well-loved arias and songs from the worlds
of opera, musicals and films including works by Handel, Mozart and Vaughn Williams.
Saturday 9 October, Courtney Pine CBE: Jazz musician Courtney Pine returns to Le Manoir, after his appearance in 2007, to perform his distinctive take on the genre.
Guests will enjoy a Ruinart Champagne reception with canapés at the restaurant, before heading down the torch-lit path to neighbouring St Mary’s Church for the evening’s performance.
Afterwards, guests can enjoy a specially created four-course dinner in either the restaurant or the La Belle Epoque dining room. Dishes will include roasted breast and confit of Trelough duck, yuzu
curd with a jasmine tea and ginger sauce, and will come be accompanied by matching wines.
