London’s only all-weather beach (think sand castles, tropical cocktails and beach bars) will be returning to the Great Eastern Hotel this August. The hotel will transform its six-storey central
atrium gallery into a beach with Spanish and Latin American flavour, featuring sand, sun umbrellas, loungers and beach towels. Specially designed tapas menus have been created by the chefs at
Aurora, Fishmarket and Terminus, including dishes like Pecorino tuiles, Melanzana fritters with spiced purée and mini chorizos with saffron sauce ranging from £3.50-11 for single dishes and £12-17
for sharing plates. A programme of nightly events will offer an extensive range of activities from wine tastings to cocktail parties. For more detailed information, call the hotel on the above
