The chilly weather, dark nights and upcoming solstice (the shortest day of the year) might make some of us want to hibernate until Christmas, but the folks behind premium Scotch distiller Highland Park see the advent of winter as an excuse for a giant party – and you’re invited.
Following the success of its summer social, Highland Park is determined to keep our spirits up this winter, too. On 24-25 November, it will host a two-night shindig at The Old Truman Brewery’s Boiler House, themed around the Scottish and Nordic influences of the Highland Park brand. Expect whisky tastings held around a roaring fire, dangerously moreish whisky cocktails, delicious Nordic-style street food from a host of vendors, and live electronic music from DJs including Kipps, DJ Finnebassen and Eelke Kleijn.
Tickets to this event, which starts at 6.30pm each night, cost £10. To book, visit the ticketing page for the Midwinter Social.
