This September, Hakkasan’s executive chef Tong Chee Hwee is collaborating with Street XO’s executive chef David Muñoz to celebrate the Chinese festival of Golden Week. The pair will devise a special menu that will be available for a month at both Hakkasan Mayfair and Hanway Place. Example dishes include a tortilla dim sum with truffle and quail egg, and traditional Peking duck served with a beetroot pancake, lychee and rose. The pairing have also created a special cocktail for the occasion called the Oriental Frontera, which mixes vodka, plum sauce-infused sherry, pink grapefruit, chilli and sweet and sour sauce.
The Street XO and Hakkasan menu will be available in Hakkasan Hanway Place and Hakkasan Mayfair from 25 September to 22 October. The menu is priced at £88 per person and is for a minimum of two people. To pre-book, call 020 7927 7000.
