Gourmet wine dinners at Lords of the Manor

Lords of the Manor

Michelin-starred restaurant Lords of the Manor, in the Cotswolds, will be hosting a series of five-course gourmet wine dinners until March 2012.

The events take place on Friday 25 November, Friday 20 January, and Friday 16 March, and the schedule is as follows:

25 November: Tuscan wine dinner presented by Phil Weeks, Armit. Wines to be served from this region will include Sassicaia, Barrua and Montessu. Tickets cost £90 per person.

20 January: Chilean Wine Dinner presented by Ronnie Janssen, Lapostolle. Taste wines from the Marnier-Lapostolle family (founders and owners of Grand Marnier liqueur). Tickets cost £80.

16 March: Rhône Valley wine dinner presented by Michael Altur, Yapp Brothers. Famous for its bold reds and aromatic whites, as well as the distinguished Châteauneuf-du-Pape and sweet, golden Muscat, the Rhône consists of two distinct viticultural regions. Tickets cost £90.

All of the gourmet wine dinners begin at 7pm. Guests who book can take advantage of a special overnight room rate of £150, including a full English breakfast.
