After popping up successfully last year, Burger Monday – a self-proclaimed burger ‘bash’ run by foodie website Young&Foodish – is returning to the capital.
The competition pits six half-burgers against each other, all cooked by chefs from the city’s most acclaimed burger restaurants and pop-ups, including Patty & Bun (pictured), NanBan, Joe Allen, Almost Famous, Hawksmoor and Mother Flipper. Ticket-holders can tuck into each half-burger before voting for their favourite, with the winning chef
awarded the Golden Patty Award.
The competition will take place at the Camden Town Brewery on Sunday 7 April and Monday 8 April. On Sunday, the event will be split into two sessions – one in the afternoon from 2-6.30pm, and
another in the evening from 6.30-11pm; on Monday, only the evening session will run. Tickets cost £50, including six half-burgers and two drinks (either Camden beer or soft drinks).
