Gefiltefest is a Jewish food and culture festival set to educate and excite London's foodies during one-day of cookery demos and cook-offs between top chefs, talks, tastings and a dynamic
marketplace with stalls selling baked goods and even chocolate-covered Kosher insects, if you're brave enough. Find out who won Britain's best bagels, cheesecake and Challah bread and make sure to
sample delicious goodies.
Gefiltefest will be headed up by queen of Jewish cooking, Claudia Roden, who will also be joined by reputable US writer and cook Joan Nathan, two of Prague's rising cookery stars Michal Hromas and
Jana Burianova and Israeli cooks Itamar Srulovich and Sarit Packer, the couple behind the much-loved Honey &
Co in London. But the star-studded affair doesn't end there: expect presentations from more than 75 well-known cooks and speakers, including Guardian columnist Felicity Cloake, who will act as
an expert judge.
Early bird ticket prices are on sale until 15 May at £20 for an adult and £12.50 for a child.
