Spitalfields gem Galvin Café à Vin will celebrate speciality beers and ciders later this month as part of its inaugural Beer Week.
From Monday 15 April, guests who order the plat du jour will have the opportunity to match it with a specially paired beer or cider of the day.
Beer week will culminate on Saturday 20 April with a five-course beer- and cider-tasting dinner featuring veteran beers from Chiswick brewery Fuller’s, Bermondsey’s The Kernel and the West
Country’s Wild Beer Co, as well as Aspall cider to kick off the event and a dessert cider from Herefordshire cider company Once Upon a Tree. The evening will be hosted by beer-and-food-matching
expert Mitch Adams, from award-winning Essex pub The Thatcher’s Arms.
Tickets to the beer-tasting dinner cost £40; to book tickets, call 020 7299 0404 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
