Harry Sasson, one of South America’s most respected chefs, is heading for the InterContinental London Park Lane hotel, which will be hosting a pop-up of his influential restaurant, Club Colombia.
With five successful restaurants under his belt, Sasson and his team will be cooking up a tasty Colombian storm from 17-25 May at the Cookbook Café’s Market Table, which has breathtaking views over Green Park.
Sasson’s modern Colombian menus at the Cookbook Café Market Table will include a
selection of signature dishes which will be on rotation through the duration of the pop-up. Expect his trademark interpretations of indigenous recipes such as Bogotá’s most emblematic dish,
ajiaco bogotano con sus garniture, a hearty soup with potatoes, corn and chicken. Other dishes include Creole rice stew with prawns, spices and coconut milk, Bogotá-style empanadas stuffed
with shredded beef and potatoes, or summery sea-bass ceviche with heart of palm, ginger, lime and coriander. There will also be a special weekend brunch offer on 25 May.
