Things are about to get hot at Dalston Yard come 9-10 May. Chilli Chilli Bang Bang, a weekend festival that pays homage to the mighty and fiery chilli pepper, is set to spice things up for
chilli-lovers and foodies all over.
Brought to you by Wahaca-founder Tommi Miers and the kings of street food Tweat Up and Street Feast, this two-day event will have live cookery demos featuring chilli-infused dishes from a winning
line-up of London chefs from Giorgio Locatelli (Locanda Locatelli), Anna Hansen (The Modern Pantry), Stevie Parle (Dock Kitchen, Rotorino), Atul Kochhar
(Benares) to MasterChef champ Tim Anderson and respected food writer Tom Parker-Bowles, a sizzling selection of food
from over 15 countries: think signature pork pibil tacos from Tommi's own Mexican joint Wahaca, fragrant Indian spices from Roti Chai, Japanese bites from Tim Anderson's Nanban, Yum Bum and
American diner staples from B.O.B.'s Lobster and Slider Bar. There will also be a hot sauce deli, live music and, to top it all off, a wicked selection of chilli tequila cocktails from best-selling
tequila brand Jose Cuervo. My, my, summer's just got a bit too hot to handle.
Chilli Chilli Bang Bang will run over three sessions: Friday 9 May 5pm-midnight
Saturday 10 May Noon-5pm
Saturday 10 May 6pm-midnight
Tickets £15 per person which includes a spicy, festival-sized Jose Cuervo cocktail, a beer, a margarita (£6) plus hot sauce (£2.50) from Wahaca.
