Feel floral with Perrier-Jouët
To celebrate the launch of its beautiful Belle Epoque Florale Edition 2004, top Champagne house Perrier-Jouët has teamed up with the stylish
Fifth Floor Bar at Harvey Nichols, offering a flower-inspired canapé menu for two.
For £85, you and a friend can each sample a glass of Belle Epoque 2004 (which normally costs £45 a glass) plus a selection of four specially matched, intricate canapés: chive- and pansy-dressed
crab croustade; Poilâne melba with viola, almond and truffle crumble; hibiscus-marinated salmon; and tea- and lavender-smoked duck breast.
The floral flavours match the delicate notes of this feminine fizz, which comes from a top-notch vintage and is pretty as a picture in its limited-edition bottle designed by Japanese floral artist
Makoto Azuma. His intricate design, featuring white Japanese anemones, pays homage to Belle Epoque’s iconic art nouveau bottle created by Emile Gallé back in 1902.
