For two nights only, Tom Sellers, who has worked with superstar chefs such as René Redzepi, Thomas Keller, and Tom Aikens, is teaming up with The Rebel Dining Society to host a pop-up called
Foreword. His aim is to give London’s diners a taste of things to come in advance of the launch of his permanent restaurant, Story, in 2012.
The event takes place from 28-29 November in a converted Edwardian chapel in Bethnal Green. Sellers will cook a five-course experimental menu for only 40 diners per night, including avant-garde
takes on dishes such as bread and dripping, and inventive main courses such as beef cheek with pumpkin seeds, brown butter and sorrel.
Tickets cost £70 for five courses plus a cocktail on arrival and wine with dinner. To book, visit The Rebel Dining Society’s website.
