The Cinnamon Club is hosting a series of spirit tastings over September and October, with each session focusing on a different tipple paired with Indian dishes. There will also be a spirit ambassador on hand to talk you through the history, culture and taste of each.
13 September Johnnie Walker whisky: showcasing its black, platinum, gold and blue labels, paired with seven delicately spiced, modern Indian plates.
20 September Casa Agave tequila: blanco, resposado and anejo tequilas paired with bowl food, including chargrilled venison escalope with Rajasthani soola spices.
27 September Chase Distillery vodka: marmalade and rhubarb vodkas, matched with canapés such as scallop ceviche, tandoori chicken tikka and smoked paprika raita.
11 October Sipsmith gin: sample the famous VJOP (a Very Junipery Over-Proof gin) alongside roast saddle of lamb, with onion and rock moss sauce and pilau rice.
