On Friday 8 July, The Cinnamon Club will host a wine and food pairing with guest speaker Michael Cox, from marketing body Wines of Chile. Along with Laurent Chaniac, The Cinnamon Club’s wine
consultant, Cox will pair Chilean wines with a bespoke five-course menu prepared by executive chef Vivek Singh and head chef Hari Nagaraj.
The menu includes dishes such as seared scallops with Achari-style cauliflower purée (paired with 2009 Cono Sur Vision Gewurztraminer, Single Vineyard Las Colmenas, Casablanca Valley, Chile) and
tandoori squab pigeon with black lentils and saffron bread (paired with 2008 Viña Leyda Lot 21 Pinot Noir, Leyda Valley, Chile). To finish, diners can enjoy spiced lemon tart (paired with 2007
Echeverria, Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc, Curicó Valley, Chile).
The evening will start at 6.30pm and tickets cost £90. There are 40 places available at this event, and booking is essential.
