Sherry has been all the rage for the past few years, meaning wine experts – who have long been fans of this fashionable wine style – are finally getting the chance to talk about it in depth.
This year, Spanish tapas mini-chain Camino is launching a series of intimate sherry and food tasting evenings in its City branch, led by wine writer Jane Parkinson (pictured). Parkinson will
introduce guests to a selection of sherry styles to demonstrate the drink’s versatility – from ultra-dry, refreshing fino to sumptuously moreish, rich oloroso. During the tasting, guests can tuck
into tapas tailored to match each sherry style.
The first two Sherry Nights will take place on Monday 11 March and Monday 25 March, from 6pm-7.30pm. Tickets cost £25, including all tapas and sherry samples, plus a welcome glass of cava. In
addition, guests who wish to stay for dinner at the restaurant after the event will be offered a discount on their meal. To book, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
