On 23 April, St George’s Day, high-flier Galvin at Windows is launching a beer-and-food matching-menu.
The three-course menu, which will run until 7 May, features two British beers paired with each course.
The menu – and beer pairings – are as follows:
Mussels and smoked haddock with deep-fried organic egg, sourdough bread and sauce marinière
paired with Camden Hells Lager (4.6%) and Timothy Taylor Landlord Pale Ale (4.1%)
Slow-cooked pork belly and braised pork cheek with Puy lentils, cloves and cinnamon jus
paired with The Kernel India Pale Ale (6.4%) and Fuller’s Vintage Ale 2004 (8.5%)
Chocolate fondant with cherry sorbet and pistachios
paired with Jennings Sneck Lifter Strong Ale (5.1%) and Samuel Smith’s Cherry Beer (5.1%)
The food-and-beer menu will be available only at lunctimes and costs £45, including a complimentary bottle of water and tea/coffee, excluding service.
