Clapham independent freeholder The King & Co has given its kitchen over to a series of street-food entrepreneurs and pop-up maestros since launching late last year, including Donostia Social Club, Miss P's Barbecue, and Wild Serai. The latest foodies to take up a two-month residency at the pub are Persian cooks Bah Bah, who will be serving up an Iranian feast throughout February and March.
Bah Bah's chef James Nicholson - who has cooked at Hawksmoor and The Palomar - specialises in irresistible hot and cold meze and hearty braised stews with fragrant spiced rice, and all of his signature dishes will be on the menu during the residency, plus daily specials.
Bah Bah will be at The King & Co until Sunday 29 March. To book at table, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
