Alain Ducasse’s Rivea London is celebrating summer in style, with a Champagne dinner combining wines from France’s oldest Champagne house with a five-course tasting menu.
The tasting will be led by Ruinart’s Eric Simonet and showcases some of Ruinart’s most exciting styles – from the ‘R’ de Ruinart NV (in a jeroboam) and the 2004 Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, to the 2002 Dom Ruinart rosé – all of which display the fresh aromas, vivacity and purity of fruit of this Chardonnay-heavy Champagne. Dishes on the menu have been conceived to match the Champagnes perfectly, and range from marinated gilthead sea bream with grapefruit and pomegranate, to rib and saddle of milk-fed lamb with spring vegetables and herb pesto.
