From 27 March – 1 April, the Four Seasons hotel in Mayfair will celebrate the opening of the new Four Seasons in Thailand, by holding a Thai food festival. In the main restaurant, Lanes, a special menu will feature a combination of Thai classics and regional specialties, such as Gaeng Hung Lay, dry spiced curry with pork
and pickled garlic. A five-course tasting menu with accompanying wines is also available.
Thai afternoon tea will also be served daily in the Lounge and will offer a break from the traditional cucumber sandwiches, with the likes of glazed roasted duck on Doi Khan macadamia nut roll and
mango sticky rice.
On Saturday 25 March, there’ll be a cookery class focusing on Thai herbs and cooking techniques.
The cookery class costs £95 per person and includes a three-course lunch afterwards.
Call the restaurant direct on 020 7499 0888 for reservations.
