A Keralan evening at Café Spice Namasté

On Wednesday, 8 August Café Spice Namaste will be hosting a special food & wine event with a ‘Keralan South Indian food festival’ theme. The evening will include a specially prepared four-course meal with traditional Keralan dishes paired with wines from around the world. The object of the evening is to absorb guests in local traditions & customs and to show how diverse South Indian food can be using ingredients accessible to British people. Staff dressed in traditional costume will greet guests with a traditional greeting by lightly showering them with rose water on arrival. Inside the scene will be set with a stunning array of candles, traditional floor markings, lamps & flowers. Charismatically guiding their guests through each of the four courses, Cyrus Todiwala & Matthew Harrison of Balls Brothers will pass on their tips for matching & creating the pairings.
