The Waverley Inn is a contemporary British restaurant which serves a seasonal menu that champions high-quality and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. The restaurant also doubles up as a venue for hire, able to accommodate all manner of personal and corporate occasions, ranging from milestone birthday parties to business dinners.
Found in the bustling Surrey town of Weybridge, The Waverly Inn is part of the Rarebreed dining group, which also operates The Corn Stores and The Shurlock Inn, both in Reading. Due to The Waverley Inn’s proximity to its sibling site The Plough Inn, the Waverley specialises in fish and seafood creations, alongside its core steak offering and classic Rarebreed dishes - think chargrilled pork chop with braised rainbow chard and chickpeas or cider battered hake with crushed peas, curry sauce and thick-cut chips.
When it comes to planning a party or event, The Waverley Inn is a smart choice. The site benefits from a central location with plenty of accessible transport links, as well as gorgeous interiors, which feature pastel tones, floral wallpaper and plenty of eye-catching artwork and other trinkets dotted around the space.
Unusually for the area, The Waverley Inn also benefits from an attractively lit and heated outdoor terrace. This makes the venue a good shout for alfresco soirees such as summer parties, or even just regular gatherings where you want to ensure you have access to outside space.
There are a range of event spaces to choose from here, whether you are looking for something cosy and intimate (see The Snug) or a casual space to hold a standing drinks reception (check out the on-site bar). Our favourite space at The Waverley Inn has to be The Garden Room though, which brings the outside in via hanging plants, white brick walls and plenty of natural light.
