Behind the grand pillars of its neo-Georgian facade, The Law Society houses a surprisingly broad range of interiors – contemporary as well as traditional. Its standout space is the Council Chamber
(see separate review), which offers tiered seating and hi-tech AV facilities. The wood-panelled Common Room, with its stained-glass windows, makes a beautiful entertaining space and holds up to 280
guests. There’s a civil wedding licence and the pillared Reading Room, complete with sweeping staircases, serves up a striking backdrop for ceremonies. The Old Book Shop, originally the society’s
book store, is a good choice for meetings or breakout sessions. Ampersand is the sole caterer.
Please note: the Old Council Room & Dining Room are sold together.
