In a neoclassical Mayfair townhouse, The Lansdowne Club matches a storied history to modern event facilities. A vaulted goldleaf ceiling makes the Ballroom a remarkable space for gala events., while the Shelburne Room is augmented by a private anteroom and bar area for catered parties. For smaller meetings and private dinners, there’s the elegant Findlay Room. The club has a rich fencing tradition and the sport can be incorporated into teambuilding days.
The Ballroom was originally designed by the neoclassical architect Robert Adam as the Library and later remodelled by George Dance and Robert Smirke to house the renowned Lansdowne Collection of classical statuary.
This elegant Grade II listed 18th century room has recently been refurbished and features spectacular 24-carat gold leaf vaulted ceilings and minstrel galleries.
Overlooking The Courtyard, the Long Gallery, with signature oak flooring and a classic barrelled ceiling, is the perfect setting for registration, catering, arrival drinks or an after-dinner bar.
