Although primarily a neighbourhood pub, No Such Place also doubles up as an event space available for private hire, with four dedicated spaces to choose from. Knowhere Special can accommodate all manner of personal or corporate occasions in its function spaces, ranging from birthday parties and large-scale family dinners through to product launches and business lunches. The venue also offers an in-house events manager to help you plan your perfect celebration.
The most intimate space at No Such Place is the ClubRoom, which is found on the venue’s lower level. The space hosts up to 20 guests at once, but what it lacks in space, it more than makes up for in facilities - the ClubRoom is home to its own private bar, sofas, tables and a 55-inch television screen. It is a shrewd choice for cosy, intimate events such as film screenings or viewing parties for sports fixtures.
The second option is The Gallery, a large and sophisticated space boasting opulent decor and a working fireplace. The Gallery hosts up to 60 guests and because of its size, is well suited to large private dinners and standing cocktail receptions.
If you are planning to host an alfresco event, or want your guests to have the option to use outdoor space, instead consider No Such Place's Enchanted Garden. Able to act as a backdrop for summer barbecues, drinks receptions or alfresco dinners, The Enchanted Garden can host up to 50 guests at one time. It is also worth noting that the outdoor furniture can be rearranged to your own preferences, while the space also benefits from a rain cover and heaters should the famously unpredictable British weather not play ball.
The largest space here is the Dining Room, which can host up to 100 guests. The Dining Room is an elegant and chic function area which features an array of tropical plants and eclectic seating. There is also a great Snug Sofa area which overlooks the main space, although as with the Enchanted Garden, furniture can be easily reconfigured to suit your needs.
