Mour is one of Marylebone's most stylish restaurants, boasting not only beautiful interiors and a fabulous postcode, but delicious Med-inspired menu - and, plenty of space for private hire.
A family-run concept with generational expertise built up after years of working in hospitality, Mour fuses Mediterranean cuisines to craft a menu inspired by long lunches spent by the sea. If you're looking for somewhere special to host your next event, Mour has a selection of spaces, both indoor and out, for up to 130 people.
And, for those events that are better with a little fresh air, Mour’s courtyard is one of its biggest draws - especially in the summer months. The Marylebone restaurant can host 20 guests seated or 40 standing in the covered outdoor space, creating an appealing setting for summer parties, brand dinners, drinks receptions and long lunches that stretch into the evening. It can be hired independently, paired with other areas, or incorporated into an exclusive takeover of the whole venue. While inside, the main restaurant accommodates 40 people for a seated event or 100 standing, with full venue hire increasing capacity to 60 banquet-style or 130 for a reception.
The interiors strike a considered balance between old and new. Decorative cornicing, wall panelling and a large tapestry bring a more traditional townhouse feel, while dark green seating, contemporary tables and sculptural chandeliers keep things current. Moving between the restaurant, bar and courtyard gives larger events a wonderful flow rather than confining everyone to one function room.
Food takes its cue from Mour’s fondness for leisurely, generous dining. The sample menu offers plenty for groups to build a meal around, beginning simply with Nocellara olives or sourdough served with whipped thyme brown butter. More substantial plates include roasted leeks with jalapeño, brie tortelloni with rainbow chard and Grana Padano foam, and tiger prawn tagliolini with bisque and chives. For a larger main, monkfish is served with beurre à la bourguignonne.
