Each run is made up of – you guessed it – ‘junk’, with players having to carefully navigate obstacles made from all sorts of random objects. Dirk’s Acid House of Horrors is based on a 90s all-night rave, with UV lights and industrial fittings a-plenty. Other choices include Bozo’s Fairground which features retro funfair paraphernalia with a spooky twist and Gary’s Scrapyard which includes whole written-off cars and other automobiles.

To ensure you have a good time, whatever kind of event you’re planning, the good people at Junkyard Golf Club have put together a handful of perfect packages for groups. For the golf itself, prices start from just £11 per person for an off-peak session and increase to £13 per person at the weekends. If you want to really treat your guests then there are a handful of hospitality packages too, which include the game(s), drinks, and all-important visors for everyone (because if you’re going to do it you may as well do it properly). Pre-paid bar tabs are a possibility too, if you want to give people free reign on topping themselves up.

For exclusive events there’s also the option to hire the course in its entirety, to give your group more time and space to spread out and enjoy the experience.
