Dining reaches giddy heights in the Science Museum’s eye-catching Flight Gallery. Set in an authentic replica of an aircraft hangar, tables can be laid out beneath Amy Johnson’s ‘Gipsy Moth’ or Alcock and Brown’s ‘Vickers Vimy’ (the first aeroplane to cross the Atlantic) so that guests can get up close and personal with the icons of aviation history. To take the experience further, there’s an adjacent 3D simulator which can take guests on an aerobatics display with the Red Arrows, while the Launchpad gallery offers an interactive option for a pre-dinner drinks party. Receptions are available for 400 guests, and 350 can be hosted for a dinner dance.
