The Grand Hotel Eastbourne

The Grand Hotel Eastbourne

Dominating Eastbourne’s promenade, this majestic hotel epitomises the Victorian seaside resort in all its grandeur. The Grand has an impressive selection of function rooms, suites and bedrooms – many with sea views – as well as elegant lounges. Event organisers are presented with a range of flexible suites, while both in-house restaurants have received many awards. The Western Lawns can be hired for teambuilding activities, while the sea’s available for powerboat rides.Venue review of Warren Weir Venue review of Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club Venue review of Tylney Hall Hotel & Gardens Venue review of Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa 'Blackhawk Dine' - Group focus on Elite Hotels, autumn 2013

Weddings at Kensington Palace

Weddings at Kensington Palace

Currently the official London home of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Kensington Palace has been a royal residence since the 1690s, so its credentials as a high-profile wedding venue can hardly be overstated. Set in tranquil gardens that adjoin Hyde Park, the Wren-designed venue was originally commissioned as a retreat for the royals from the pressures of Whitehall. Today, despite its central location, the venue still feels pleasantly removed from the bustle of its west London surroundings. We like the idea of hosting reception drinks in the Queen’s Gallery with its painting-filled 17th-century interiors or, if the weather’s good, on the Portland-stone terrace. A wedding breakfast in the beautiful Orangery will be unforgettable.

Foxhills Club & Resort

Foxhills Club & Resort

This 400-acre Surrey estate, just 25 minutes from Waterloo and Heathrow, comprises a resort hotel, destination spa and three golf courses – two 18-hole and one 9 hole. There’s also a driving range and a number of country club facilities – tennis, squash and a state-of-the-art gym – which are made available to overnight guests. Nine conference rooms seat between four and 100 delegates, with natural light, garden views and modern AV equipment, while numerous well-run teambuilding activities can be put on inside or outdoors. The 19th-century manor house features attractive traditional interiors and casual breakout space in The Manor Lounge, where guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi, as well as an all-day menu, starting with breakfast at 8am and going right through to afternoon tea at 6pm. For those looking to make a night of it, there are also 70 bedrooms available to guests.
