Bermondsey is an incredibly cool part of London, filled with warehouses that have been transformed into boutiques and pop up restaurants, plenty of oyster bars and gorgeous riverside flats. This area is close to Tower Bridge and has a wonderful neighbourhood feel to it. Maltby Street Market is filled with popular bars and gourmet food vendors, whilst Bermondsey Square houses an antique market. The Tower of London is worth a day trip with the family, as the place where so much of London’s rich and bloody history has taken place. After you’ve said hello to the Beefeaters and ravens, pop into the Fashion and Textile Museum or White Cube art gallery, before a relaxing dinner in one of Bermondsey’s many fantastic restaurants.
