Prosecco Festive Mojito

A bit of breezy sparkle never goes a miss at Christmas and, with some added warmer flavours too, this is a seasonal banger that will certainly keep the spirits high...or revive them when needed! This cocktail was dreamed up in 2022 by Agostino Schiavo, the former bar manager and cocktail Svengali at the Arts Club. 

Ingredients

50 ml of Prosecco DOC brut
25 ml of white rum
20 ml of lime juice
1 dash of soda
2 tsp of sugar
2 tsp of pomegranate seeds
Mint leaves and cranberries zest to garnish
Ice cubes

Method

Pour the rum and the lime juice into a large Prosecco glass

Add the sugar and stir gently to dissolve

Then add the ice cubes, pomegranate seeds, cranberries and mint and stir again

No top up with a dash of soda and the Prosecco DOC. Stir gently to avoid losing the bubbles

Garnish with a cinnamon stick

Light the cinnamon stick for extra effect
