Persian Mule

This lethal mule devised in a Shoreditch hole-up in the early teens adds creativity and compleixty to this classic cocktail. A liquid torpedo which should be served with a flourish but also with restraint.

Ingredients

40ml good quality dark rum
20ml Toussaint Coffee Liqueur
15ml lime juice
6 drops Bob’s Cardamom Bitters
2 drops rose water
Ginger beer to top

Method

Glass: Highball

 Add all, except ginger beer, to a highball glass filled with cubed ice

Top with ginger beer and stir briefly

Garnish with a cube each of crystallised ginger and Turkish delight

Thread a lime wheel on to a cocktail stick. Serve
